Download and test WordPress 3.2 Beta 1

Automattic has released WordPress 3.2 Beta 1 for public while the current version is 3.1.2 just launch this April 2011. You sign up as beta tester in WordPress and you can download and install in your local machine. The suggestion is don’t try Beta version in your real website because it’s still under development.

If you’re a WordPress plugin or Themes developer you have to start considered the compatibility with new engine, so when it launched your plugin will be compatible with WordPress 3.2.  From the official blog said that Favorites menu will be removed and it will not support with old browser like IE6. read more

WordPress 3.1.2 has been Release earlier

Lately WordPress get uninvited guest from the dark side of the Internet which is called Hackers. Many website that use WordPress as the CMS engine get hackers attack. They’re use some hole and vulnerability inside WordPress Engine. As all we know this is the concequency of using very popular GPL CMS. Personally I really love this WordPress, I will keep using this engine and also keep updating the version. Because by upgrading into new version, WordPress Developer already fixed all the bugs they’ve known. Here’s some files that has been updated :

wp-includes/version.php
wp-includes/user.php
wp-includes/query.php
readme.html
wp-admin/includes/class-wp-posts-list-table.php
wp-admin/includes/update-core.php
wp-admin/press-this.php

This time WordPress update has not much updated items, but they have fixed some vulnerabilities and it might has effect from hackers attack. I hope this update can solved our problems and thanks to hackers that has been try to break the code of WordPress Engine to make WordPress become a better CMS Engine.

This time I’d like to introduce you a WordPress Themes that very popular in WordPress.org. It called Evolve, made by theme4press. Actually EvoLve is one of a premium WordPress theme in theme4press with advanced features including lots of options. It features a modern design with up to 14 color variants, fully customizable layout, post excerpts with thumbnails, custom Menus support and other cool features.

With all of those features I think it is more than just enough for you to make your own creation for this themes. It’s a GPL license, so it’s free for you to use and make some modification if you want to. You may Download this Evolve and preview this themes from the official themes.

Evolve already translated in Spanish, German, Swedish, Dutch, French, Russian, Turkish. Tested with WP 3.1 and major browsers – Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and Chrome. We can manage the features using our own mother tongue.

Just for your knowledge, a themes with many features needs to study more and takes time to handle it suppose become a nice blog you want to. But if only to look a simple and clean style, I think you might not need this themes, but if you want to try this, that would be fine. Have a nice try.

Insert slider without writing any code

SlideDeck is a premium Content Slider that released Lite Version and can be download here. This plugin has many features even its a lite version. It’s allows you to easily create a content slider widget or slideshow on your WordPress blog without having to write any code. Just create a new slider with the SlideDeck control panel tool and insert the widget into your post via the WYSIWYG editor with the TinyMCE plugin SlideDeck picker.

You can also create a dynamic slider by using the Smart Slider function. Just choose your blog post criteria (recent, popular, featured), select a theme, set your options and viola, you have a dynamically updated slider in seconds! Users can now visually experience your blog posts. But, this features only available  in Pro Version.

Managing this plugin is quite simple, you can visit menu from admin at the bottom line and you can do anything in there. Also you can insert directly when you creating a post, because it’s already set a toolbar button. You can put images and video embedded in there plus something to write. You don’t have to write any code to apply this plugin except you want to display your slider at your own header. You must check the design and to fit in this plugin. All that you need is to put this code in your header.php

This plugin is very simple to use we don’t have to setup many configuration that might be make confused. Here’s the step how to Install it.

How To Install Adsense Me WP WordPress Plugin

  1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard
  2. Select Manu Plugin > Add New Plugin and began Search Adsense Me WP
  3. Install and you’re done.

Adsense Me WP created by WPThemes.ws, but if you download this file you will get an error at line 245. Because he forgot to add a “,” symbol. I’ve uploaded in here that already fixed.

After installing this plugin you will ready to use it and will be like this :

There are 5 option in here,  3 Ads you can use in the widget, and 2 Ads more already put in above and below the post. You can decide the size of the Ads because this plugin just help you to show it automatically in your WordPress blog/website.
